Quinn & Quill London launched on Earth Day!
Today, for our 2 month anniversary we’re launching our blog!
Quinn & Quill London launched on 22nd April 2022, saying “hello world” to the internet with the launch of our website. The significance of this date was that it was Earth Day. Given our dedication to the sustainability of our business, it was important to us that our launch coincided with Earth Day. Our one month anniversary saw us say “hello world'“ to the greeting card industry with the launch of our Wholesale Portal and a visit to the international greeting card show PGLive. Today, for our two month anniversary we’re launching our blog!
The company itself was established just four months prior to this. Following the birth of baby Quinn one thing became clear. Ever since she can remember, Tee Satanee has had a passion for drawing. The challenges of motherhood only highlighted the importance of this passion for her well-being, as she was often found with Quinn in one arm, and a pen in the other, doodling joyfully in between night feeds and nap times.
It was during one of these night feeds, somewhere between 27th and 28th December 2021, that the bold New Year Resolution was made to start a family business. Luckily, it turns out we were much more committed to this than the gym-related resolutions of years gone by! Within a couple of days we had incorporated. The combination of Tee Satanee's illustrative talents, and Jack's life-long passion for the environment and sustainability led to the formation of an ethical greetings cards business - Quinn & Quill London was born!
Although we had given ourselves up to a year to launch a fully-functional business, it was in fact just under four months before we launched our website! This was an intense journey; with lots of twists and turns, ups and downs, moments of doubt and frustration. However, on Earth Day all of this was replaced by the overwhelming feeling of pride having realised our initial vision for Quinn and Quill London.

A highlight of our journey to launch has been acquiring certification from Vegan Friendly UK. Meeting their high certification standards gave us a lot of confidence in our vision, and all the motivation we needed to push ahead with bringing it to life. We proudly apply this mark to all of our products as a sign of our commitment to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards.
Similarly, gaining early recognition as a Plastic Free Champion by Surfers Against Sewage is a status we’re equally proud of. Establishing an entire supply chain completely free of plastic is not easy, but we’ve done it, and we’d like to see more businesses doing the same. But it is with special thanks to the Greeting Card Association for extending such a warm welcome to Quinn & Quill London into the greeting card industry.
