We’re a small family business!

Tee Satanee & Jack Callaghan are a husband and wife team, with two children providing all the inspiration!

Following the birth of baby Quinn one thing became clear. Ever since she can remember, Tee Satanee has had a passion for drawing. The challenges of motherhood highlighted the importance of this passion, as she was often found with Quinn in one arm, and a pen in the other, doodling joyfully between night feeds and nap times.

Not long after Quinn was born, Quinn & Quill London was born!

About Us

On the other hand, Jack is a regulatory policy specialist with a life-long passion for the environment, sustainability and human rights.

As a couple, we enjoy discovering ways to live more ethically. Over time, everyone in the family have become wiser consumers of things like food, home furnishings, baby products and clothing.

From the moment we decided to turn our combined passions into our own family business, we committed ourselves to achieving high socio-environmental standards.

Not long after Quinn was born, Quinn & Quill London was born! Our ethical greeting cards business was established in 2022 with a clear vision to bring exciting ethical options to the greeting cards industry.

About Our Cards

All of our favourite brands and organisations have one thing in common… strong socio-environmental values. However, the ones that get us really excited are those that operate at the forefront of those values, challenging behaviours and changing entire industries through their work.

We wanted to own a business like this, and as a startup saw an opportunity to achieve high socio-environmental standards from the outset rather than setting long-term targets, or putting them off altogether. So from the very beginning, we committed ourselves to the highest possible standards we could think of, and agreed not to launch until we had met them:

  • 100% Vegan friendly products

  • Chemical free, FSC certified recycled paper stock

  • A plastic free supply chain

  • At least 1% of sales of selected designs donated to charities

  • Affordable prices

  • A generous wholesale pricing structure

As mentioned in our first blogpost, we’d allowed ourselves up to a year to launch our business. We thought it might be difficult and/or expensive to achieve some of our aims. We quickly discovered that it was neither too difficult or much more expensive for business to make ethical decisions.

In fact, many of these decisions make good business sense! We were therefore able to launch our business within just four months as we were satisfied we’d met all of our goals. To see how we’ve put these into practice, you can explore our policies here.

Now, more than ever, we are convinced that if we can find ways to be considerate towards the environment and societies around us, there’s absolutely no reason why all other businesses shouldn’t be doing the same.

Each design released by Quinn & Quill London is inspired by an element of Tee Satanee’s own life; as a woman, a mother, a wife, an Asian, a Londoner. We hope you find something you love just as much as we do, and that your greeting card will have a lasting impact on the lucky recipient.
